Zeta I. Mulka, formerly of West Scranton, passed away Sunday evening at The Laurels Health and Rehabilitation Center in Kingston where she had resided for the past eight years. Her beloved husband, Samuel J. Mulka, preceded her in death on March 7, 2002. Born in Taylor on May 30, 1921, daughter of the late Frank and Della Tokarczuk Krolikowski, Zeta was a graduate of the former Taylor High School. Of Roman Catholic faith, she was a member of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church in South Scranton. A loving person whose life revolved around her family, she will be dearly missed. She is survived by nieces, Linda Mattive and Lorna Delaney, both of Wilkes Barre and Sandy Sylvester of Mesa, Az; and a nephew, Bill Krolikowski of Cresco; great nieces; a great nephew; and a great-great niece. Her family would like to thank both Dr. Mark Puffenberger and the staff of The Laurels for all the care they'd given Zeta during her stay. Sisters, Emily Hickey and Lydia Karwaski, and brothers, William, Frank and Edmund Krolikowski, also preceded her in death. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, St. Paul of the Cross Parish, to be celebrated by Rev. Scott P. Sterowski, Pastor. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Zeta's name to the American Lung Association (1301 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004).
