Mrs. Zola Elizabeth Riggin, of Little Rock, went home to be with her Lord January 10, 2012. She was 96. She had served her Lord for many years. She had been a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church since 1942. Mrs. Zola loved every one, and loved to help anyone in need. She retired from St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Riggin; one daughter, Billie Jean Gunning and grandson, Robert Vaughn Gunning, one grandson, Jimmy Riggin, and one granddaughter, Tammie Marie Riggin. Survivors are her sons, James M. Riggin and his wife, Traudle, of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Henry E. Riggin and is wife, Judy, of North Little Rock, Arkansas; a foster daughter, Ruth Davis and her husband, Kenneth, of Little Rock, 8 grandchildren,12 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Crystal Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Ballard, officiating. Interment will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Little Rock (501) 661-9111. Memorial may be made to Crystal Hill Baptist Church, 18823 Crystal Valley Rd., Little Rock, AR 72210.
