Rosemary B "Rosie" Knapp, 82, of Cuyahoga Falls, died Monday, January 16th, 2012 at Akron City Hospital Medical Center with her beloved husband and family at her side.

She was born May 9, 1929 in Cuyahoga Falls to Raymond and Josephine (Kaster) Johnson. She was a life long resident of Cuyahoga Falls. She attended Cuyahoga Falls High School, where she was a member of the Class of 1947.

Rosemary's life was devoted to caring for her family. She married the love of her life, Harold Knapp, on August 14, 1948 in Kent, together they raised 7 children, enjoyed 9 grandchildren, and were blessed with 1 great granddaughter. She was the family caregiver, teacher, and role model of unconditional love.

She is survived by her husband, Harold F. Knapp; sons, Richard (Bonnie) Knapp of Stow, Randy (Carrie) Knapp of Cleveland Hts, David Knapp of Cuyahoga Falls, Daniel (Marcia) Knapp of Appleton, WI; daughters, Cathy Dillinger of Stow, Debra Hunsicker of Stow, Tracy (Vasilije) Konjovic of Streetsboro.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Knapp, and sister, Margaret Wellington.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, January 19th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home 628 West Main Street Kent, with Deacon Mike Stabilla officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:30 AM until time of service. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery.
