Wade Lee Wilmore Wade Lee Wilmore was born on July 16, 1934 in Chester, South Carolina, son of Willie Owens Wilmore and John Wade Wilmore. On June 16, 1957, Wade was joined in holy matrimony to Geneva Stroud and this union was blessed with 4 children, Veronica, Kevin, Bernadette and Dion. They moved to the Vauxhall section of Union, New Jersey where they would raise their family. Wade was employed as a Welder at Stavola in Bound Brook, New Jersey for 40 years before he retired in 2004. He was a member of Aenon Baptist Church in Union, New Jersey. Wade Lee Wilmore departed this life on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at home at the age of 77. He was predeceased by a daughter, Veronica Wilmore and his parents, John and Willie Wilmore. He leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife, Geneva Stroud Wilmore; 2 sons, Kevin Wilmore of Danville, VA and Dion Wilmore of Union, NJ; a daughter, Bernadette Wilmore of Summit, NJ; 4 grandchildren, Jonathan Robert Lee, Brittney Lauren Highsmith, Jayden Lee Wilmore and Jordan Elijah Wilmore; 3 children who he loved as grandchildren, Jada, Isiah and Kiara Lockett; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Venable of Union, NJ and Annie Mae Fredricks (Elbert) of Chester, SC; 2 brothers, George Wilmore (Jeanette) of Georgia and Bobby Wilmore of Chester, SC and a host of other relatives and friends. God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be, So He put his arms around you And whispered, "Come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you And saw you pass away. Although we love you dearly We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands are at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
