Winnie and I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Kathy because of her work at the Butler She worked with us tremendously for both the Linda McCartney and Michael McCartney exhibits at the Butler. She was a wonderful person, a gentle soul and and amazing wealth of information about Art and she loved the Butler and her work at that institution. We are saddened by her loss and our thoughts and prayers are with her family and her family at the Butler. Sincerest Condolences .John and Winnie Awarski

So very sorry for the loss of your beloved Kathy. It was definitely a shock to us at 21 News. She was a great lady. Always had the smile on her face and ALWAYS willing to help with whatever we needed. She sure knew her stuff! You should be happy and proud to know that she left a mark on this Valley and will be missed greatly. I have to mimic my boss' comments (Mona Alexander) and say she was a class act. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. Sheila Miller, 21 News Executive Producer

My condolences to all of Kathy's family members.
As a fellow employee with Kathy at the Butler Art Museum I can attest to her wonderful personality and
professional accomplishments. Kathy was always willing to be genuinely helpful, she possessed a positive attitude and acted with caring consideration towards all staff and visitors to the museum. Kathy was a person that you could always go to. I miss her not being at Butler Art.
