I remember Fred when I was a little kid in Minster. My dad Ed VanOss bought a dog from him. I ran into Fred many years later, when his wife Hilda was a resident at Heritage Manor. My mom Elsie, was also a resident. What a very loving and wonderful man he was to Hilda. I did get to enjoy his voice too. The whole family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was the lucky alto who stood in front of Fred Topp in choir for years and years. He had an innate musicality with his voice, knew the harmonies like the back of his hand, and sang out confident and strong. I loved singing my also harmony along with hearing Fred's tenor harmony. I can't tell you how sorry I am to learn of Fred's death. You have my sympathy ... I feel only gratitude for being lucky enough to have had this gentle man with his quick laugh and interesting stories touch my life. ~ Beth B. Weber

We are so sorry for your loss. My father Larry McClure and Fred were table mates in the dining room the last couple years. He is going to miss Fred greatly. He always waived and had a smile.

Just to let you know that we are thinking about your family during this time of Sympathy, and wishing you all the fondest memories of your Dad. What great visits to remember when my parents would visit Uncle Fritzy and Aunt Hilda, Your Dad talking about his dogs and showing them to me and my dad, and hearing all his great stories.

Will miss seeing Fred at the Gardens. I've only known him the past 4 years, but what a wonderful man. Loved music & life! A bit ornery too, I always stopped & said "hi" to Fred. My sympathy to all of you, may he rest in peace. Becky Rammel. (Marie Kosters Ranly's daughter)
