Dennis was Sherriff while my mother (Claire Joines) worked for the county. He was a great friend to her. I have a great deal of respect for both his service to Monona County and for his two tours of combat duty in Vietnam. Rest in peace and prayers for the family and friends.

Denny was a great friend and co-worker. I enjoyed working for him in the Sheriff's office. I will never forget his infectious smile,good humor, and loyalty to friends and family. He will be missed!! Rest in Peace my friend.
