To the Jimison family: I didn't get to know the Chief until after he retired, but his smile, twinkling eyes and friendly conversation were something I looked forward to when going to Panera. He was wonderful and we were all blessed to have known him. Peace.

I went to high school with Jim and we were police officers in South Euclid together for 5 years. He went on to be Chief of Bainbridge Twp and I went on to be a Captain on the Cleveland PD. We remained friends throughout the years, and I can truly say he was an excellent, motivated police officer. He had a good sense of humor, and we always had a few laughs when we got together. Will always remember you.

SEPD 1970, Jimison, Sutherland and Herbst

Our thoughts and prayers to the family, I know he will be missed by many. I always enjoyed riding with Jim at SEPD, he was not only intelligent and a good police officer, but also had a special talent for spotting "the bad guys". He made the work day very enjoyable with his entertaining qualities. We were very sad when he left SEPD, but were happy for the Bainbridge community who was lucky to receive his service to the community. I have nothing but good memories of him.

As a founding member of the Bainbridge Police Dept, and 'the Chief's' first Detective Sergeant at the Dept., Katy and my thoughts and prayers are with Donna and his family. In reflection, the best years of my long police career were the 18 years I worked with the Chief and the Bainbridge Police Dept. He taught me so much on how to be a good policeman, and investigator. I will forever be grateful to him. I am so happy last

I'll never forget his grin...always guilty of pranking someone or his endless love of playing games like when the Christmas ELF would call the house. Many great memories of him. He will be mkissed and is always loved
