My heart is broken at hearing of Dr Baker's death. Worked with him for nine years and learned so much from him. Not just about medicine but how we should treat others and a lot of common sense added in with his wisdom. He was a teacher, coworker, and a friend to us all. He will be deeply missed by so many. My deepest condolences and prayers for his sweet wife and entire family.

I am alive today because of Dr. Baker. When other surgeons were pessimistic about my chances after a MVA in 1994, Dr. Baker sat a rocking chair beside my bed in ICU and watched over me thru the night.

RIP Dr. Baker

Dick was a wonderful and loving husband to my cousin Ann. I am thankful to have known Dick.
