My heart is breaking for all who knew & cared about James. He and my son (Kaleb) grew up together, and considered each other brothers. They were practically always together. James was the son I never asked for (LOL), but loved just the same! I will miss the way he could always make me smile, especially when he knew I was upset with him. He had a light about him and he made absolutely sure that the people he loved,

I'm very sorry to hear of James sudden passing. He was an awesome kid and our family loved him. I will miss hearing his voice in my house and those hugs he gave that you felt in your soul. He is dearly missed. Keeping his dad and grandparents in my thoughts and prayers.

I am writing on behalf of my grandson Carson who is unable at attend James' service. Carson has expressed sincere condolences for the passing of his friend and feels a great loss at this time. He thought very highly of James and shared many of their experiences and challenges that they faced together in high school and beyond. So very sorry to hear about James. James and my Grandson Kaleb were very good friends growing up in Mt. Pleasant. I have fond memories of James coming to our house with Kaleb. My prayers and sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert.
