As the sun sets on what was your last evening on this earth 1 year ago today (February 27, 2021) - I find myself still struggling to find peace . I love you just as much - if not more ( if that´s possible ). I still find myself speaking out loud to you at times not really convinced that you can hear me . I ponder where your journey has taken you , & I pray that we will see each other again . Magical thinking ? . . . Maybe . I really hope not . You are missed by all of us on a level that I don´t believe that there is a word for . I know that you aren´t reading this , but I thought that it might be cathartic . we shall see . . . XO

These moments and many many more come to mind as WE, myself, Michelle and Brianna think about you, knowing that we will miss you tremendously as you travel on to your next journey.

Dear Minnie, Catherine, Ray, Brenda, Mark and Richard,

Please accept my most sincere condolences. It is with a heavy heart that I write this. I'm sure you all are already missing Ray, Dad, Father-in-law. There is a very large gap in the universe and, I'm sure in each of your hearts.

You have been in my thoughts and prays since I first heard this tragic news from Brenda. I continue to pray for you all.

I had the privilege of knowing Mr Sousa or who I was lucky enough to call another Dad for more than forty years. He was the kindest man I ever knew and was always there for me. Some of my greatest childhood and adult memories happened at the Sousa house with him there. His laugh was infectious and he was always ready to eat some sweets with you. I will forever have a place in my heart for him and will truly miss him.
