My parents worked for Mrs. Huntington and her husband, David, in Glenbrook, NV from 1969 to 1975. I lived on their estate when I was in my teens. When I graduated from Whittell High School in 1974, Mrs. Huntington gave me a check for $2,000 which helped me pay for college. For years this wonderful lady remembered me on my birthday with a card. Her grace and spirit were unlike anyone I have ever met since.

I will carry the memories of Fritzi and David with me always.

You helped make Lake Tahoe the beautiful place it is today. You will always be remembered for your wonderful attitude and bountiful energy.
I really enjoyed working with you for the League.

Such a classy lady! She lived and breathed Glenbrook where so many fond memories remain. Full of energy, a resolute concern for others, and a giving spirit, Fritzi will be forever fondly remembered.

I always really liked Fritzi. Even as a kid up at Glenbrook she took the time and interest to get to know you. She was gracious and dignified and yet had a common touch. Our family will certainly miss her.

Fritzi was one of the most upbeat people I have ever known. She was always thinking of the other person and I cannot imagine her without a smile on her face.

I envision her at a Glenbrook party reunited with the many friends of bygone summers. Everyone is happy to see her.

Dearest Claire and Claudia,

Oh how I loved Fritzi! She was my mentor, my confidant, my friend and I loved every minute we got to share our mutual love of Lake Tahoe. Those were heady days when Fritzi was at the helm of the League and everyone knew FRITZI was a force of nature!

An extraordinary woman, I was so lucky to have been one of her fans.

Much love and warm thoughts,

Theresa May Duggan
