To the family of Dr. King, there are too many memories of how he touched the life of my family. Begining with the times when my father taught Spanish at HT and contining with the influence he had in my attending Fisk University. He is truly a legend and will be missed by all. Henry and I will keep your family in our prayers during this difficult time.

THE YEAR WAS 1947, AND MY LATE HUSBAND ALMUS HILL OF AUSTIN AND JOHN KING WERE THE BEST OF FRIENDS. IN MAY OF THAT SAME YEAR JOHN WAS BEST MAN AT OUR WEDDING. WE REMAINED FRIENDS OVER THE YEARS AND JOHN WOULD VISIT WHENEVER HE MADE HIS WAY TO ARIZONA. MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP HIS SURVIVING FAMILY MEMBERS. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO SHOWER US WITH HIS KINDNESS AND MERCY. HILDA HILL
