Robert N. McMurren, 72, of Ashton, formerly of Aurora, died on Friday, September 14, 2018 at KSB Hospital in Dixon.

He was born on March 8, 1946 in Burlington, Iowa to Robert and Delores (Vieu) McMurren. He married Judy Hamm on September 5, 1964. Bob was a union carpenter for over 20 years until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Judy, of Aurora; a daughter, Julie Martin, of Aurora; 2 sons, Robert (Sharon) McMurren of Clare, Ill. and Joshua (Alexandria) Cunningham of Elgin; a sister, Patricia Hall of Aurora and a brother Richard Satterfield of Aurora. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Barbara and a brother Raymond.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Per his wishes there will be no services. McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Falls is handling the arrangements.
