"There never was anyone better to be around than Brooks.... He was simply a lot of fun ! Downhilling Granite Chief, paddling the Tuolomne, having a beer at the Red Dog, arguing current events, comparing 911s, finishing the Jumble, limousine-ing to JFK, BBQ-ing....all were great ! In his work, he used his very quick mind, knew a great deal about markets, was professional in every respect, and appreciated everyone with whom he came in contact. He was very funny, in a mischievous sort of way, but deadly serious when need be. He was his own man. Brooks, I will always remember you. Rest in Eternal Peace."

"Brooks was always good to me as a broker and as a friend .I have just retired from the State of Montana after 38 years of which Brooks was always on my approved list no matter who he was working for. I am so glad we had lunch at Sam's the last time I was in town. I am sorry Brooks is gone but he will never be forgotten, My deepest condolences."
