Dear Angie and Family,
So sorry to say - Steve and "Murph" are together again. The only difference is their mayhem, laughter and practical jokes will be done in heaven. Yep, we lost another good one, but looking at all the wonderful family photos, you've got many good memories to help you.
Love and God's strength be with you all,
Barbara Cenkner

Dear Angie and family, The Voss family is so sad to hear of Jim's passing. We all grew up with Jim on Worden Street and at St. Brendan's parish. Jim was a great friend to all as well as a terrific athlete and a hard working paper-boy growing up. He always had a baseball mitt or football with him and eager to throw around the ball. It was particularly difficult for my mom, Margaret, to hear of the news. Margaret says that Jim must be proud to look down upon his wife and family and know that they will celebrate his life and love for you all.

I have just heard of Jim's passing and immediately went back to my St. Brendan days. Jim and I played all the sports together and had many fun days in the class room. We went our separate ways in high school, Jim to Denby and I to De La Salle. We lost touch until senior year when De la Salle played a baseball game at Denby High. As the teams we were warming up, I noticed this long haired pitcher throwing on the Denby side. The pitching motion was one that I will always remember, that sweeping side arm that I used to play behind at St. Brendan. It was Jim Murray!! The game ended, I honestly do not remember the score, but, remember that was the last time I saw Jim. My prayers and condolences to his family.

I am so shocked to hear of the loss of Jim. He was my best male friend in high school. We grew up and moved to different places but I never forgot the funny, kind, and caring person he was, not to mention the best Denby High baseball player there ever was!!
Angie, I'm so very sorry, my prayers and condolences to you, your children and grandchildren.

Murray Family... Your father/husband was a terrific person and such a wonderful man. Only knew him through carpet cleaning business but Jim was a professional, personal, and talked about his family throughout the entire time he did his job. He gave me terrific insight to having grandchildren...who he absolutely adores ! We will miss him always, but are blessed to NOW know his family. Prayers to you all. Sincerely, Ed and Maryann Kunnath
