Condolence & Memory Journal

I got to know both Gladine and Arthur through my office. I always enjoyed visiting with them and I will miss Gladine dearly.

So very sorry to hear of your loss. Gladine gave me my first job at the Dairy Queen at 15 years old. Learned a lot from her. Mom enjoyed bring in Eastern Star with her also serving as Grand Matron when Gladine was Worthy Grand Matron. I know she will be missed. She touched so many lives.

I was blessed to have gotten to know Mrs. Stark through my classmate, her daughter, Patsy. This was one of those families who made Arcadia Valley a better place, through their community service and businesses. I remember not only the milk deliveries to our door, but then the wonderful Daily Queen where so many of us enjoyed Mrs. Starks delicious ice cream treats and where she employed many AV students. Years later when I returned back to the Valley for vacations, I saw Mrs. Stark again at her shop in the former AV Drug store on Main Street. It was always a highlight of my trip home to stop and visit with her and catch up on our families. I was happy to see a nice article about their family's Century farm a few years ago in the Mt Echo.

Mrs. Stark was well loved by her family, friends, and community and will be missed. I'm sure she is telling Mr. Stark all the family news he's been waiting to hear. Thank you for the wonderful memories you left so many of us. Our loss is now heaven's gain.

It was an honor to meet Gladine Stark about 4 or 5 years ago at an Official Reception of the Grand Chapter of Missouri, OES, in Farmington. It was such an privilege to be the Conductress that night and introduce both Gladine (WGM 1969) and Joyce Hartoebben (WGM 2007).

Thanks to her family for allowing her to be a member of OES for so many years. We only hope that her daughters and grand-daughters can continue the OES traditions. We hope she received a sea of cards on her 97 birthday last week, it was announced across the state.

Peace be with you.
God Bless and Star Love Always,
Karen

Too many incredible memories of time down in Arcadia with Gladine, Corky, Art and Pat to list. To describe what is saw within the family in one word would be Joyful! Everyone worked very hard but had smiles on their faces. Godspeed Aunt Gladine. You will be missed by all.
