Phyllis R. Rosko, age 96, of Ringwood, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 8, 2018. She was born February 8, 1922, to the late Charles and Rosalie (nee Orb) Wiedbusch. On August 19, 1944, she married the love of her life, Joseph Rosko.
Phyllis was a longtime volunteer at the Pink Door, volunteering each week. She enjoyed playing pinochle and frequently visiting the senior center. Phyllis loved vacationing to Florida. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving grandchildren: Phyllis (Kevin) Hollerbach and Chris (Melissa) Iannello; cherished great-grandchildren: Angelo Iannello and Devin Hollerbach; dear son-in-law: Salvatore Iannello; and fond sister: Roye Roadman.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by loving husband, Joseph; daughters: Claudia Rosko and Phyllis J. Iannello; sister: Lois Rosko; and brothers-in-law: John Rosko and Roy Roadman.
Visitation will be from 4pm until time of Funeral Service at 7:30pm on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry. Interment will be at 11am on Friday, March 16, 2018, at St. Lucas Cemetery in Chicago, 5300 N Pulaski Road, Chicago 60630.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Phyllis' name may made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois 4215 Newburg Road, Rockford, IL 61108.

I worked with phillis at McHenry east campus. She was a very nice person with alot of great family stories. All the students loved her. She will be dearly missed.
