Tribute & Message From The Family

Virginia Dore (Kidder) passed on to be with her husband Rawland in heaven on December 6th 2018. Virginia (Ginny) was born 1924 in Pittsfield N.H. and grew up in Barnstead N.H. She married Rawland Dore of Alton in 1943. Virginia ran her own beauty shop (Ginny's Beauty Nook) for over 60 years out of her home in Alton. Ginny was active in her church, the Garden Club and the Republican Women's Club. She loved doing crafts and took up painting in her later years, producing excellent pieces treasured by friends and family. Virginia and Rawland loved to travel around New England taking pictures of all the covered bridges. Later in life they purchased an RV which they parked in York Beach Maine where they loved to walk the beach as well as explore up and down the coast.

She is survived by her son Dennis and wife Carol of Rochester Minnesota, Granddaughter Michelle and husband Ryan (Dearing) of Omaha Nebraska, Great-Grandson Mathew and wife Molly of Omaha Nebraska, Great Grandson Christopher of Minneapolis Minnesota, son Douglas and wife Cynthia of Alton Bay N.H., Grandson Aaron of Alton N.H. and Great-Grandsons Caden, Carter, Cameron and Declan, Granddaughter Sara and husband Jonah (Pike) of Meredith N.H. and two Great-Grandsons Tyler and Max. I will always remember Aunt Ginny's laughter and love of life and fun spirit. I remember her going for a ride with my Dad in his model A and the both of them enjoying life. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with her family that they will remember her great love for her family and friends. Love Mary Letourneau (Kidder)
