Condolence & Memory Journal

When I started as a Med. Tech. student at RMH, in in 1962, Betty was the Serology instructor. She was a great teacher - conscientious, patient, and knowledgeable. She was always courteous, professional, kind, sweet and a wonderful role model for all of us. We continued to be coworkers until she retired and friends thru the years.

My sincere sympathy to all of Betty's loved ones.

Betty was one of my instructors in 1963 and I was privileged to work with her until her retirement. She was such a kind person in every way. Her guidance and mentorship meant a great deal to me. In all the years we worked together, I don't remember her ever even raising her voice and there were many frustrating days. What an example she set! My condolences to her family who she spoke of often. She will be greatly missed.

I worked with Betty from 1977 until her retirement. She was the nicest person and a very accurate, meticulous medical technologist. I also remember how she loved living in a house that backed up to some horses in Rockford. She treasured her time in Urbana with her brother. What a caring person.
