Condolence & Memory Journal

To the family: I am so sorry for your loss!

Gerry, used to work for me as a driver at Woods. I will always remember the good talks we had after he came in from a weeks run on the road. (It would always start with "Daniel we need to talk") I enjoyed his infectious laugh, his occasional stubbornness, and his overall willingness to always get the job done right! He liked to joke a bit and it was always fun and a pleasure to work with him! I am sure he and some of his old buddy drivers Rod, Ruben, and Steve are telling some good trucking stories up in heaven!

Our prayers are with you!

I truly love this man. He taught me so much over the years. He was a Man's Man. He worked very hard for everything he ever had. He taught me to never give up. He taught me what real friendship really is. He was a proud man. He also loved his family very much and cherished his loved one's. He was stubborn to sometimes to a fault. But he was Old School it was his way or no way and he let you know it from the get go. When people die sometimes we try to make them look like a saint. But Gabe wouldn't want that. He wasn't perfect but who is ? He was my friend and I loved him like a father. I will miss him very much. I will miss him driving around town everyday in his Kabota he was so proud of. He would always stop and we would talk about whatever was bothering us. This town will never be the same without him and neither will I. I love you Gabe.
