Frederick Floyd Woodson Sr, decorated U.S. Air Force veteran, passed into glory on April 18, 2020. He was the devoted husband of the recently departed Alberta D. Woodson for a loving 54 years. Frederick was the loving father of Dr. Sarita LaShun Woodson, Frederick Woodson Jr., and the late Erick Ornell Woodson. He was the dedicated stepfather of the late Philip (Cathy) Wesley and Michael Anthony Wesley. Frederick was the tender son of Jesse James Woodson Sr and Ethel Robinson. Doting grandfather to: Tabitha Dominique Woodson, Kyle Erick Allen Woodson, Miracle Vivian Woodson, Latoya Wesley, Philicia Wesley, Chelsea Wesley, Philip Wesley Jr, and Kimika Nichols Wesley. Dear brother of the late Ora Owens, the late Jesse James Woodson Jr, the late Raymond Otha Woodson, and James Woodson. Jesse James Woodson Sr, father to Frederick Floyd, remarried after the death of his first wife Ethel. The union of Jesse James Woodson Sr and Mary Richardson was blessed with six children. Frederick Floyd's siblings from this union include: the late Linwood Woodson, the late Stephen Woodson, the late Richard Woodson, the late Janet Woodson, Donald Woodson, and Jacqueline Woodson. Frederick Floyd Woodson Sr was dedicated to the Lord at a young age in Arkansas.

Arrangements for Frederick have been entrusted to Russo's Hillside Chapels. In keeping in compliance with the current CDC and IDPH recommendations regarding gathering size (not to exceed more than 10 people), all funeral services for Frederick will remain private for just the immediate family only.
