Condolence & Memory Journal
I was a crew dispatcher at Potomac Yard in Alexandria, Va. and I first met Russell in 1969. The long and short was that Russell was a very good person, I wish I could say this about all people that I met but I can't.

My condolences to his family, especially his daughter Cindy and son Russell Jr. It was great to reconnect with my Uncle Russell at my Father's funeral in 2000. My Father, Mackinnon Going Young Sr. always spoke very highly of his little Brother. Russel Hamilton Young Sr. will continue to live on in our memories. May he have a joyous reunion with Beulah.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Young. I remember meeting him at ReJOYce in Jesus Ministries on the VCU campus when he came to visit Ms. Cindy. He was a kind man and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet him. I will keep the Young family in my thoughts and prayers. Blessings.
