My condolences to Sue's family. I was pleased to know Sue (and Alan) through our AMC connection at Echo Lake, ME over many summers and again at the camp reunions. I was always impressed with her concerns for others and the environment.

Over the years, I've thought about Sue a lot, feeling as if I'd been privileged to know her through the stories Keith and Annie shared- their love, respect and affection so tangible. She was clearly a remarkably generous, courageous and kind human being. I'm so sorry guys. Moms are irreplaceable- no matter what our relationships with them are like. I imagine (pray) she has found her way to radiant joy and freedom and is enjoying a hike too ridiculously beautiful for the likes of us imagine and put into words. Take care of yourselves. Lots of love, Crystal

I am truly saddened to hear of Sue's death. Uncomplainingly she fought long and hard against her cancer. She was a role model for all of us. She was a good friend.I am lucky to have had he in my life.

David and Keith - your mother holds a special place in my heart as she was there for me the day my son was born at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She also welcomed me to Needham when I coached David's baseball team. Her warmth and compassion were a blessing to all who met her. My sympathies to you, particularly on mother's day.

Dear David,Keith, and your whole family. I was one of Sue's many friends at echo lake. We shared many hikes, excursions and our mutual love of gardening. Spending time with Sue was one of my favorite things to do at camp. I will really miss her. Sending condolences to you all. Carole Sayle

A wonderful and complete life where all the ups and downs were accepted with grace and quiet humor.
Sue's warmth, gentleness and strength are an inspiration to us all.
Will miss lunches at Paparazzi's.
So happy that life led to our meeting and friendship.
Love to Sue and family,
