Louis E. Smith, Sr., age 58 of Elyria, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, in the comfort of his loved ones, following a lengthy illness. Beloved son of Frankie Smith and the late Helen (nee Pettry); loving father of Louis, Jr. (Natasha), Catherine Smith, Desiree Smith, and DeLonna Smith; devoted grandfather of Hope Scarbro, Zoey Cantley, Mackenzie Smith, Rowan Smith, and Rose Smith; dear brother of Rick (Rhonda), Tom, and Mike (Connie); uncle of ten. Louis leaves behind his wife, Denise Smith, former spouse, Catherine Muncy, and cherished loved one, Deb Mischler.

Louis traveled the entire United States as a truck driver. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and loved being out on the open road on his motorcycle.

Funeral Service at 11:00am on Friday, July 16, 2021, at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second St., Elyria, OH 44035. Family will receive friends from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Thursday, July 15 at the funeral home. Interment at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, OH.
