Tribute & Message From The Family

Robert John (Bob) Wilson age 86 of Concord passed away peacefully on July 26, 2021 at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln. He was the husband of the late Minette Brumberg Wilson.

He was born in Waltham, Massachusetts, on September 21, 1934, the son of the late Herbert A. and Hazel M. (Whipple) Wilson, brother of late Patricia Wilson Roehl. Robert graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and began a rewarding and successful career as a computer engineer for Allis Charmers, MSA, & retired at Lawson Software. Robert and Minette settled in Stow, MA where together they raised their 3 children.

Integrity and fair play were the hallmarks of his personal, professional, and athletic lives. He was a life-long athlete and enjoyed sharing his passion for sport with his children and grandchildren. He was a long-time member of the Northeast Bicycle Club and competed in master's races both regionally and nationally. He also competed in masters alpine ski racing.

He is survived by his children Kristina Wilson-Ezequelle of Amherst, NH; John Dovid Wilson of Baltimore, MD; Margaret Wilson of South Boston, MA; son-in-law Robert Ezequelle, daughter- in-law Ilene Wilson; niece Pamela Roehl Hochmurh; and his 6 granchildren Amelia Ezequelle, Wilson Ezequelle, Samuel Ezequelle, Akiva Eliezer Wilson, Moshe Reuven Wilson, & Aharon Yosef Wilson and his partner of 15 years, Barbara Pike of Concord.

Services at Woodlawn Cemetery in Acton will be private. A celebration of Bob's life will be held in early fall.

I'm so very sorry to receive this news. I enjoyed riding with Bob many, many times. He was my "hero" as he stayed so active for so long. My heart goes out to Barbara and his children.
