Maureen Domene Schafer (nee Durning) of Warminster, Pa. passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at Abington Jefferson Health Hospital. She was 74 years old. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace (nee Kelly) Durning. She was the beloved wife of 12 years to Joseph Schafer. She was predeceased by her late husband of 30 years, Antonio Domene. She was the loving mother of Maria (James), Amelia (Joe), Teresa (Shane), Christina and Anthony (Kristyna). She was the sister of Jack (Judy) Durning and grandmother of Drake (Julia), Dominique, Brandon and Matthew. Also surviving are her 3 great grandchildren, Emily, Chloe and Kylie and 2 step children, Joseph Schafer III and Devon Marie Schafer.
Maureen was an avid reader, she had a huge record collection and was a crossword wizard. She was a member of the Federal Generals Corps, (Civil War Reenactors). She will be sorely missed by all.
Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, October 23, 2021 after 11:00 am until time of her Life Celebration Service at 1:00 PM in The Decker/Givnish Life Celebration Home, 216 York Rd., Warminster.
Interment will be held privately.
