BURLESON -- Patricia Ann "Granny" Gatlin, 67, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012.
Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Granny was born March 21, 1945, to William and Edna Moore. She graduated from University High School in Waco. She married her husband, Lloyd Gatlin, on June 11, 1960. She was employed for 22 years with Tenneco Corp. and then was owner of the Bluebonnet Cafe in Waco for 13 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Gatlin; son, Michael Gatlin; daughter, Rhonda Gatlin; and sister, Jeannette Russell.
Survivors: Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Kenneth Gatlin and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Beau and wife, Kala, Ralynda, Britney, Ashley, Cody, Mary and Marshall; great-grandson, Trip; sisters, Sondra Stokes and husband, Byron, and Marie Farmer; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.

Aunt Pat...My favorite memory of us two was when we cooked Thanksgiving dinner at dad's a couple years ago. You telling me old stories of Peepaw and Lloyd. I had so much fun with you that day!! I remember working for you at the Bluebonnet Cafe when I was like 17. I think I lasted for two whole days! Too stressful. You had to be strong to do that kind of work. You were a beautiful woman and will be truly missed by many! Rest in peace, Aunt Pat! Love you, always!

My memories of you are so great. I have missed you so much the past few years. I am glad you are at peace and with the other loved ones that have left before you. My heart and suffering are for Kenneth, Beau and thier families, for you had given them so much joy, your leaving will be hard for them. Love you !
