Condolence & Memory Journal

Candle

My prayers go out to the family of Mary Banks during this sad time. Mary (and Herman) were long-time friends of my mother, Cecelia Collier, for more than 50 years. They enjoyed many good times together, both as members of St. Anthony's parish and as close, personal friends. I know she and my mother will have a happy reunion in Heaven.

Everyone loved Mary ~ her sparkling Irish wit, her beauty, and her sweet personality. Mary was a very devoted Catholic, wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a friend and helper to all. She will be remembered lovingly.

Know that she will be remembered in my prayers.

We knew Mary as Kathy's mom, who occasionally came to town to visit in the summer. She was a lovely lady and fun to chat with, always in good spirits and looking at the bright side of life.

We are very sorry for your loss and know she will be missed. Our deepest condolences to Kathy and the family.

I have known Mary since I was a boy of 5 when I first met her oldest son Herman Jr. 59 years ago. I have many fond memories of growing up with Junior. Mary was like a second mother to me. May she rest in piece and may God bless her soul.
