"Beloved Wife"
Mary N. Franks, wife of David Franks, Born August 12, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Nathan and Laura Norris. Born into the kingdom of God September 7, 1937 and departed this life November 30, 2012.
Leaving behind her husband David, sister Audrey Breedlove, and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, destination - the Holy City, the home of God, the city itself - pure gold, main street - like glass, gates of pearls, foundation - inlaid with precious gems, light - the illumination of the glory of God, water- pure clear as crystal, the gates will never be closed. Will you come too?
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Carl Norris.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Garrett Hillcrest Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 3 PM Sunday prior to the service at the Mausoleum.

I was sorry to hear of Mary's death. I'll always remember growing up next door to you and Mary. We were mean little kids but you and Mary alway keep us grounded, and she always kept my hair looking so nice. I remember that she fixed my hair the day I got married....we slipped off and got married but I had to tell Mary about it...she was so excited she could barely finish my hair.
I will never forget the times she talked about the Bible with me.
May God be with you David at this time.

Mary was a dear woman and will be greatly missed. So sorry to hear of her passing though so glad for her to have entered a better world. Mary and David were good friends to both Kathryn and Lomer Arrant.

Yonnie and I were sorry to hear of Mary's death. We always love seeing both of you at the reunions. I'm glad my mother,Emily kept us in touch with every one through the years. We'll keep you and the family in our prayers.

Life Stories

Dear David: Our sincere condolences to you on the death of your beloved wife, Mary. Dean and I have wonderful memories of the seven months we were your neighbors on Lee Road in Clyde. We would come home after working long hours on our home we were building and there would be a knock at the door. It was Mary with a delicious meal. It happened often, and the meals were wonderful. We enjoyed our driving trip with you and Mary to see where you grew up, and meet Mary's sister, Audrey. Our visits with you and Mary in Clyde, and later Candler will always be remembered by us. Thank you for making "northerns" feel welcome here. Waynesville is now our home and we believe we made the right decision to move to this great area. Blessings to you David, and may God bring you comfort during this sad time for you and your extended family.
