Condolence & Memory Journal

A million times I'v needed you, a million times I'v cried. If love alone could of saved you, you never would of died. On life loved you dearly, in death I love still, for in my heart you have a place that no one else will fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you did'nt go alone, for part of me went went with you, that day God took you home

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Bob was a huge influence on me as I negotiated my adolescence and early adulthood and then later when I was able to perform music that we'd written together in concert in Germany. Bob was, at 18 years old, the best guitarist I've ever heard, and there are riffs that he did that were as memorable for me as any that I've heard on albums before or since. The world, and I will miss you Bob. You were the Sun.

I can't believe it's been so long, or that you're gone. But never forgotten. We had so many good times, wild times, and a million laughs. I'll be having a few in your honor, and listening to Marshall Tucker.

My condolences to all. He was one of a kind.
