Abraham Chirathalakal Mathew (Mathukutty), 68, of Carrollton, entered into eternal peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 13, 2017 in Carrollton, TX.



The wake service will be from 6pm-9pm on Friday, February 17, 2017 at St. Mary’s Indian Orthodox Church of India, Carrollton. The address is 1080 W. Jackson Rd. Carrollton, TX 75006.



Funeral services will be held at 10am, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at St. Mary’s Indian Orthodox Church of India, Carrollton with Rev. Fr. Joshua George, parish vicar officiating the service. Burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rolling Oaks Funeral Home.



Abraham Chirathalakal Mathew was born in Kalamaserry, Kerala, India to C.V. Abraham and Chinnamma Chirathalakal on May 21, 1948. He went to school in Ernakulam, Kerala. He married Alice Mathew on October 20, 1974 at St. George Orthodox Syrian Church, Kalamassery, Kerala. He graduated from St. Peter’s College, Kerala with a degree in mathematics. He last worked as a Material Processor for Assurant Solutions.



Abraham is preceded in death by his father C.V. Abraham, mother Chinnamma Chirathalakal, and eldest brother Abraham Varghese.



Abraham is survived by wife Alice Mathew, daughters Manju and Maya, and son Manoj Mathew; son-in-law Abraham Varghese and daughter-in-law Sinu Mathew; older brother, Abraham C. Abraham and younger sister Mary C. Joy.
