Abundio A. "A.A." Lujan, 90, Loraine, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 2, 2017.
He was born on July 11, 1926 in Colorado City to Felix and Eusebia Alvarado Lujan.
A.A. was a hard- working man who loved to have fun, and was a great example of what it means to love his God, his country, and his family. A.A. was a life member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Colorado City, a proud WWII veteran and a faithful loving husband, father, and grandfather. In his spare time A.A. enjoyed cutting up, he could tell a joke that would just fill the room with laughter. He was an avid hunter, loved boxing, and always had a cowboy movie ready to roll.
A.A. is survived by his children; Joey Lujan and wife Cassie of Loraine, Eddie Lujan and wife Jackie of Rosco, Cecelia Munoz and husband John of Loraine and Mary Helen Gomez of Colorado City, as well as by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Emelia Lujan and by his son-in-law Gilbert Gomez.
A Mass of Christian Burial for A.A. will be held on Thursday, May 4th at 2pm in St. Ann's Church with Father Michael Odegbunam officiating, burial will follow in the Loraine Cemetery.
The family will be present for a visitation at St. Ann's church on Wednesday, May 3rd from 6-8 pm with a rosary to be held at 7 pm.
