This lady was one of the few really wise women I have known in my life. During our years at Supai, I was always amazed at her ability to understand people and pinpoint their needs and to bring together those who were at odds with one another. Also overwhelming, was her love for the people and the children of Supai. She worked tirelessly for them and did not spare herself. There was no problem too large for her to tackle.

This lady was one of the few really wise women I have known in my life. During our years at Supai, I was always amazed at her ability to understand people and pinpoint their needs and to bring together those who were at odds with one another. Also overwhelming, was her love for the people and the children of Supai. She worked tirelessly for them and did not spare herself. There was no problem too large for her to tackle. And anything she undertook was done with great wisdom, dignity and dedication. It was with great sadness that Rusty and I learned of her passing. She was one of the great influences in my life, and I learned much from her.
