Alice Colleen Boelter
1936-2018

Alice Colleen Boelter, age 81, passed away on January 20, 2018 in South Jordan, Utah. She was born on September 16, 1936 in Paul, Idaho to Ida and Blain Nielsen. She graduated from Paul High School, and attended BYU and received her associates in Nursing from Weber State University. She married Harold E. Boelter on April 16,1962 in the Salt Lake City Temple.

Colleen was an accomplished pianist, and was infamous for her homemade candy. Being a nurse by trade was a natural fit for Colleen, she always found joy in serving and taking care of others. Colleen loved spending time with family and friends. Her favorite title was being called "Grandma", she attended as many, dance recitals, and ball games she possibly could. Colleen loved to laugh and never wanted to miss out on any party or celebration. It's her sense of humor and love of serving others that helped carry her through the tough times. She always saw the sunny side of life.

Mom will be greatly missed and will be in our hearts and memory forever.

She is survived by her children; Richard (Karen) Boelter, Mark (Teresa) Boelter, Blair (Brenda) Boelter, Blain (Amy) Boelter, Mary Ann (Wayne) Twitchell, siblings; Ronald (Evelina) Nielsen, Margaret (John) Duff, Marilyn (Jerry) Swensen, Robert (Cara) Nielsen, and Richard (Diane) Nielsen; 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
