Alice Shields Hogg, 85, passed away peacefully in the early hours of September 3, 2017 surrounded by her family after a brave and valiant battle against cancer. Alice was born in 1932 to Frederick and Letitia Shields in Chester, Pennsylvania.

A graduate of Notre Dame Catholic High School in Moylan, Pennsylvania, Alice married the love of her life, Robert Hogg Sr. on August 8, 1953. They lived in the greater Philadelphia area and in Georgetown, Texas. Alice and Bob had a deep faith and lived it in their daily actions. They spread their love to their immediate and extended family, friends, and anyone in need. No one ever left her house hungry or not feeling loved. Over her lifetime, Alice worked as a realtor with NPC throughout Central Texas, for the Williamson County Health Department, the Williamson County Appraisal District. She also worked at Bell Telephone, Baldwins, and Interboro High School in the Philadelphia area. Beyond her dedication to her family, Alice loved to sing. She would sing around the house, in the car, in church and with Sweet Adaline's Chorus.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Bob. She is survived by daughters, MaryAlice Templeman, Lisa Hogg, and Rita Turner (Coy); her son, Robert Hogg Jr (Donna); her brother, Jim; sisters, Eileen and Letty; sister-in-law, Florence; grandchildren, William (Chrystal), Sarah, Crystal, Samantha (Michael), Jeremy, Rebecca, Toby (Renae), Katie, and Emily; and 10 great grandchildren.

The family will receive guest for a time of visitation from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas followed by a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, September 8, 2017 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2700 East University, Georgetown, Texas. Interment to follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.
