Aljean Alma Phillips, age 75 years, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Brian's House. She was born in Bay City on September 20, 1944 the daughter of the late Roy and Jean (Morse) Phillips. Aljean graduated from Bay City Central High School. She then lived in the Flint area where she was a hairdresser for 25 years, always keeping close ties to her home town. Aljean eventually took courses at a local college and began working as an office consultant. She worked for Genesys PHO and retired in 2009. Aljean was involved for many years with Job's Daughters.

Surviving family include her nephews, Ron (Sue) Valley and John (Laura) Valley; great nieces and nephews, Dana (Andrew) Nye, Ryan (Jessica) Valley, Kyle (Mia) Valley, Brianna Valley and Brett (Kristin) Valley; cousins, Karl Phillips, Kyle (Jennifer) Phillips, Luann Birmingham, Roger (Lori) Birmingham, David Birmingham and Tim (Drea) Birmingham; special friends, Kathy (Gary) Roznowski and Linda (George) Fogelsonger; also surviving are many great-great nieces, nephews and cousins. Aljean was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Carol Lou Valley and cousin, Gail Phillips.

Cremation had taken place and no visitation or services are scheduled.
