Allie Sue Chamness, 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Seagoville on August 11, 2017. She was born on February 10, 1928 to Ben and Opal Blackman in Kaufman, TX.

Allie was a very kind-hearted lady that dearly loved her three sons and their children. She enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers as long as she was able to. Allie also had a soft heart for all animals and during her lifetime she had many dogs, sheep, goats, pigeons and parakeets. She loved her coffee and company, and it made her day for someone to come over to visit for a while. Her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death are her parents Ben and Opal Blackman, son Billy Warren, son Larry Warren and husband James E. Chamness.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son Jerry Warren and wife, Natalie; grandchildren: Shannon Warren, Amy Warren, Todd Warren, Shane Warren, Shellie Starks, April Warren, Larry Warren, Ben Warren, Jacob Warren and Jonathan Abbott; great-grandchildren: Joseph Anthamatten, Jerod Anthamatten, Chris Diegel, Summer Warren, Grayson Warren, Austin Warren, Cody Harvey, Jacob Harvey, Joseph Harvey, Savannah Harvey, Sadie Warren, Bruce Warren, Exlee Sims, Rhyder Warren, Whroper Warren, Macy Hedgecock, Henry Hedgecock, Blake Hedgecock and Seth Starks; great-great grandchildren: Erin Anthamatten, Aubrey Anthamatten, Austin Anthamatten and C.J. Perkins; many extended family members and friends that will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, TX. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Roselawn, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest in the Garden of Scriptures.
