Alma Lee Gulledge, 73, of Adona, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. She was born February 17, 1944 in Cherry Hill, Arkansas, a daughter of Ellis "Bud" and Eunice Wheeler. Alma was a strong loving mother, wife and grandmother. She was the widow of Samuel Victor Gulledge and of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by two sons, Samuel Leon Gulledge and David Victor Gulledge both of Adona; two daughters, Alma Diane Humphrey of Tallahassee, Florida, and Brenda Renee Williams of Adona; one brother, Ellis "Jr." Wheeler of Perryville; four sisters, Thelma Bocksnick of Russellville, Marie Daniels of Rover, Ann Webb of Berryville, and Rita Fowler of Dardanelle; eight grandchildren, Dustin, Joe and Victor Gulledge, Dakota Williams, Andy Barnes, Jessica Schuchman, Linda Atkinson and Ashley Gulledge. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Imogene Lankford and Alice King; brothers, Grover, William and Dewane Wheeler.
Funeral services will be10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, at Pleasant Valley General Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Corder and Billy Zulpo officiating. Burial will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Perrryville. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at the funeral home in Perryville. Pallbearers will be Dustin Gulledge, Victor Gulledge, Joe Gulledge, Eddie Williams, Dakota Williams and Andy Barnes.
