Andrew Alva Wyer born a New Year's Eve baby in Denver Colorado, was a celebration from beginning to the end! He died August 11 but was pronounced dead on August 12, 2016. Andy was a "manly man" who raised his boys the same as he. Andy lived a full life with many accomplishments in his 66 years. He was many things to many people: He was a faithful husband, loving father and loyal friend. He was steadfast, dependable and he was kind. It goes without saying, but he died as he lived, working hard. He was a man to be cherished and honored, who loved deeply and faithfully and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He was a humble man from humble beginnings, intelligent and well read. We will miss our deep discussions, his joking and teasing. His integrity was without question. For so many, he was a mentor as well as a disciple.
As aforementioned, he was very accomplished in his life. It would be impossible to list all of them but noteworthy are the following:
Jeweler
Roughneck
Roofer
Contractor
Hotel & Restaurant Owner & Operator
He played French Horn professionally with the Denver Symphony
He held a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education
He held several janitorial jobs
Precinct Chairman, District Captain & County Commissioner candidate
Farm Bureau President & Board Member
Farmed and Ranched for 25 years
Faithful member of Majestic View Church and served as a L.I.F.E Group leader for several years.
Elected Stewart of US Postal Union - learning sign language to represent the hearing impaired.
Last, but not least, he was well known as the community resident Abraham Lincoln.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lynda Charleene Wyer, 3 children; Anna (Ralph) Burns, David (GeNiel) Wyer & Johnathan (Jennie) Wyer, 3 granddaughters, a brother Malcolm & many nieces and nephews.
