Rupert, VT-Ann S. Watrous, 75, of Rupert, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, April 25, 2008 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland. Ann was born October 12, 1932 in Hebron, NY the daughter of the late William and Jennie (Scott) Wilkins. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her flower gardens, cooking and loved animals, especially her dog Daisy. Ann was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Granville.

She is survived by her husband of fifty five years, Charles E. Watrous whom she married April 5, 1953; three children, Rose M. Rogers and her husband George of Moore, OK, Michael J. Watrous and his wife Rose of West Rupert, VT and Brenda L. Hoerner and her husband Gary of Saratoga, NY. She is also survived by a brother, Floyd Wilkins of Rupert, VT and seven grandchildren, Christopher, Mark, Ashley, Michael, Maryanne, Benjamin and Jared J.D. and four great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also pre-deceased by four brothers.

Funeral services for Ann will be held privately for the family at the McClellan Funeral Home, 19 East Broadway, Salem with Pastor Bill Steinmetz officiating. Interment will be in the Rupert Cemetery in Rupert, VT.
