Anne Plunge Vieweger, 91, of Poquonock, beloved wife of the late F. A. "Bud" Vieweger, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Born in Poquonock to the late Alex and Amelia (Krips) Plunge she has been a resident of Poquonock all her life and a longtime member of St. Joseph's Church in Poquonock as well as the church choir. A graduate of Windsor High School, she attained her Bachelor's Degree from University of Hartford through night courses. She worked as an executive secretary for the Fuller Brush Company, Choice Vend, and most recently, Advo. Anne loved music and sang in many choirs, including the Mt. Laurel Chorus of Sweet Adelines and the Bell Tones, traveling extensively through the US for competitions. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and cryptograms. Anne was a member of the Copper Hill Women's Golf League and loved to travel, taking trips to Europe, Scandinavia, Egypt, Greece, Alaska, Hawaii, and most recently to Lithuania. She is survived by her step-daughter Lynne McClintock, of New Jersey; her sisters, Irene Yuscavitch and her husband Charles of Poquonock, and Frances Garvan and her husband John of Manchester; her niece, Nancy Justin and her husband Tom; her nephews, Bruce Yuscavitch and his wife Maureen, James Garvan and his wife Karen, Stephen Garvan and his wife Caren, Michael Plunge and his wife Kathy, and Robert Plunge. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Alexander, Michael, and Edward Plunge, and her sisters Mary Plunge Miskavitch and Mildred Plunge. Family and friends may gather at 9 AM Saturday, June 2 at Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home, 1816 Poquonock Ave, Poquonock followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 1747 Poquonock Ave, Poquonock. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Poquonock. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 1 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Poquonock funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in Anne's name to St. Joseph's Church, 1747 Poquonock Ave, Poquonock, CT 06095 or to Masonicare, PO Box 70, Wallingford, CT 06492
