Arthur William Bahr, Jr., 86, of Spring Hill, passed away March 14th at HPH Hospice Care Center. He was born in New York, NY and came here 35 years ago from Hewlett, Long Island, New York. He was Episcopal by faith. Arthur served in the US Army/Air Force and fought at the Battle of the Bulge. He retired from Nassau County Police Dept. 4th Precent. He worked at the Mease Hospital as Security in Clearwater and enjoyed gardening.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Evelyn; 2 sons, William (Susan) of Hudson, David of Spring Hill; daughter, Susan (Dave) Knight of Floral City; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dorothy Sommerer of Brooksville, Joan stead of New Fairfield, Conn.; and loving family and friends. Friends will be received Sunday, March 18, from 2-4 at 280 Mariner Boulevard with service at 4pm. Burial will be at Trinity Church Yard in Long Island, NY.
