Barbara Emily Kullgren of Chehalis, Washington passed on to her eternal reward on October 24, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Kullgren in April of 1989, her parents, three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her children, Darlene (Phil) Polando of Chehalis; Allen (Patricia) Kullgren of Goldendale, WA; and Karen (Earl) Maxon of Anchorage, Alaska. She was so proud of her six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and her one great great-grandson. Barbara was raised on a farm in Amherst, New Hampshire and moved to San Diego, California in 1955 with her husband and children. In 1979 her and her husband retired and built a home in Homedale, Idaho. After her husband's death she moved to Washington State to be closer to her children. Barbara was a very warm, giving and loving person who loved everyone. She loved flowers and she could make anything grow and be beautiful. She was always giving to others whether it be a kind or encouraging word or just one of her great smiles. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all of those whose lives she has touched over the years in so many different ways. A special thanks to Willows Adult Family Home for the loving care they provided in her last month with us. A private family Celebration of Life will take place in November.
