Was born on May 18, 1940 to George C. and Dorothy (Wood) May; united in marriage to Arvid Lawrence Faudskar on December 16, 1960 and welcomed into eternal life on August 31, 2016 at Fairview Ridges Hospital with prayers from many and her Loving Sisters at her side. Barb pursued many interests her life. She raised three children, cared for many infants as they awaited adoption and excelled in her profession as a registered respiratory therapist, caring for many, and training respiratory therapist students. Barb was a long-time member of the Society for Respiratory Therapy.

With her husband of 49 years, Barb enjoyed raising and showing Bedlington Terriers, rock hunting, spending time at their little piece of Nirvana on the Snake River with dear friends, Lu and Al Pontius, and square dancing. Together they were active in Toastmasters International, the Minnesota Gem & Mineral Club and the Grand Junction Gem & Mineral Club. Barb was a Stephen's Minister and made a mission trip to the Amani Baby Cottage in Kenya, Africa with her church in Grand Junction, Colorado. Barb also painted with water colors and made jewelry by wire wrapping stones and beads. Although Barb was very sad to leave her church family and the special friends she and Arvid had made in Grand Junction, after Arvid's death in 2010, Barb returned to Minnesota in 2013. Here she was closer to family. Barb volunteered at the surgery lounge at St. Francis Hospital and took her certified therapy dog, Raven, to St Francis Hospital and to Teen Challenge, a faith-based residential treatment center. Barb also volunteered at Ruby's Pantry Food Shelf.
