Benny Harl Flowers, age 77, of Springfield, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Sunday afternoon, April 22, 2018. He was born October 14, 1940 in Morrilton, Arkansas, a son of Ben Flowers and Sarah Elizabeth Carr Flowers. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Conway County Road Department and a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church.
He is leaving behind his wife of 42 years, Doris Asher Flowers of Springfield, Arkansas; three stepchildren, Lelean Crafton, Jr. of Springfield, April Palmer of Grafton, Ohio, and Linda Wright of Foley, Missouri; sister, Mary Moore of West Plains, Missouri; five grandsons; two granddaughters; three great granddaughters; one great grandson; and many relatives, friends, and a loving church family. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters; one brother; one stepson, Jerrold Crafton II; one daughter-in-law, Neta Crafton; and one son-in-law, Paul Wright.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Jason Pipes officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Center Ridge by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
