Bernadine Carr Wills, 88, entered into rest January 26, 2018. She was born on June 29, 1929, to L. Kenneth and Louise Dubois Carr in Racine, Wisconsin.

Bernadine met the future love of her life early. She and Gerald met in Kindergarten, though he never thought she would have him. He kept her picture close and eventually proposed. After a few months of considering, she accepted and they were married for 65 years.

Following their marriage, Bernadine became a Home Maker, in every sense of the word. She was famous for her cooking, with steaks, spaghetti, pot roast and Swiss steak being family favorites. She also made every birthday dinner special. Family dinners at Campo Verde became a favorite in her later years.

Upon her passing, it is sure that she met her beloved daughter Lynda Louise in Heaven.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Gerald J. Wills; daughters LuAnn (Charles) Patton and Susan (Jim) Amrhein; sons William (Grant Phifer) Wills and Michael (Hilary) Wills; sisters Lois (Carl) Hunt and Noneen (Gary) Roen; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28, from 5-6 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 29, at 2:00 p.m. with Father Edward Kresowaty officiating, also at Moore Funeral Home. Burial will follow on Tuesday, January 30, at 11:00 a.m. at Moore Memorial Gardens.
