Betty J. Moore, 83, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth. She was born in Booneville on January 30, 1931 to Milford and Frankie Lee Miller. She was a 1948 graduate of New Site High School and a 1950 graduate of North East Mississippi Junior College. She was a member of Wheeler Primitive Baptist Church and a longtime member of the Wheeler Volunteer Fire Department.

Funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 16, 2014, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Prentiss Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by four sons, Ricky Moore of Jackson, Randy (Jackie) Moore of Booneville, Jeff (Debbie) Moore of Gray, TN and Kerry (Tonya) Moore of Wheeler; nine grandchildren, Casey (Jacob) Krech of Booneville, Andrea (Tim) Asher of Gray, TN, Brandy (Josh) England of Wheeler, Lauren Moore of Booneville, John Andrew (Hayley) Moore of Booneville, Chris Strange of Marietta, Zach (Mandy) Strange of Ozark, Kelly Harrison and Kerri Birchfield both of Gray, TN; six great grandchildren, Jonah, Levi and Finn Krech, Ava Moore, Lily Hendrix and Micah England; three nieces, Barbara Smith, Sylvia Evens both of Memphis, TN and Vickie McMillian of Paragould, AR.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie T. Moore; her parents; one brother, James M. Miller; two brothers-in-law, Walton (Bea) Moore and J.V. Moore; one great grandson, Noah Landon Krech.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Kennedy, Gerry Davis, John Andrew Moore, Jacob Krech and Josh England.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00P.M. Sunday, June 15, 2014 and until service time Monday at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude or Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital.
