Beverley Jean Fulton was born April 5, 1952 to the parents of Eddie Mae Warr and Lawrence Fulton Sr. in Chicago, IL. She was the second of five siblings. Barbara Ann Fulton(deceased), Lawrence Fulton Jr.(deceased), Lavance Fulton and Ozell Fulton. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Beverley was Married in 1975 to Fredall Russell and out of this union two children were born. They divorced in 1981.

Beverley was a very educated individual. She received her associates degree from Olive Harvey College in 1992, her Bachelors degree in 1995 from Chicago State University and later she received her Masters in Education from Chicago State University in 2005.

Beverley was a loving teacher. She worked at Nathaniel Pope School on the westside of Chicago and Nicholas Copernicus Elementary School located in the Englewood community, where she was loved by her students, parents and staff as well. She retired in 2008.

Beverley accepted Christ as her savior and she was baptized at Sweet Holy Spirit in Chicago, IL. Over the years she attended several churches: Salem Baptist Church (Rev. Meeks), Everlasting Faith Ministries (Rev. C.L. Green) where she was a missionary, but finally found her church home at New Faith Apostolic Church (Pastor Greg Allen)

She also loved to travel the world with her family.

Beverley is survived by her two children, Terrence Russell (Monique), Chicago, IL and Latanya Coleman (Travis) of Merrillville, IN; her

Three grandchildren; Christopher A. Sharpe, Ashanti C. Sharpe(Larry) and Logan I. Russell.

Three great-grandchildren; Josiah, Christy and Serenity. 4 nieces and five nephews (Yolanda Coleman, DaVonna Fulton(IL), Jimmae & Cherry Fulton, Brian Booker-Fulton, (IL) Jimmy & Larry Fulton (CA) Lavell Fulton, Lavance Fulton, God-daughter Shawntia McClemore and a host of step children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Beverley passed away peacefully in her home after a long illness. She will be remembered as an excellent teacher, a devoted Christian and a loving mother and sister. She is preceded in death by her best friend of over 30 years Carolyn Brown.
