Beverly Callahan, 86, of East Windsor, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Callahan Sr.

She was born August 18, 1935 in Manchester, VT and was the daughter of the late Rita and Thomas Dunn.

Beverly spent the majority of her career as a social worker for WIC - the special supplemental nutrition program for Woman, Infants and Children.

Over the years, she enjoyed spending time at campgrounds, playing bingo and more recently devoted much of her time caring for her dogs, Mama and Baby.

Beverly is survived by her daughter Sandy Fissette and her husband Alan of East Windsor; daughter-in-law, Johanne Guimond of South Windsor; grandchildren, Alan Callahan of West Springfield, MA, Teresa Hitchcock of Windsor Locks, Amber Fissette of East Windsor and Jennifer Hamilton and her husband Steve of Ellington; great grandchildren, Kaden Callahan, Austin Canello, Briana Oliver, Nathan Hamilton, Emily Hamilton and Ryland Hamilton; one great-great granddaughter Rose Henriquez and many other close friends and relatives.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Thomas J Callahan Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date private to the family. The Cremation Society of Connecticut has been entrusted with the arrangements.
